The unusual combination of musicians is causing a stir.

The instruments with vocals together, can be heard in succession and soloist. The musicians from different corners of the world will surprise you and make new experiences. In synergy with the Luxembourg composer creates music which you will be carried away. With flair, fire and elegance they give the music a personal touch.

The ensemble founded at the beginning of 2014 by the Luxembourg composer Albena Petrovic ( and the musician Maria Miteva is a variable ensemble but its members perform the unusual combination of flute; Maria Miteva, voice; Luisa Partridge-Mauro, guitar; Josip Dragnic or piano; Kae Shiraki; this, however, permits performances of quite a large repertoire from different stylistic epochs.


The mezzo-soprano Luisa Mauro received her diplomas in the fields of opera, song and Lied from the Conservatory G. Verdi in Milan. She has held various masterclasses in a number of countries. She has sung in La Scala and on numerous other stages in Italy and elsewhere and appeared in many international festivals. She is the director of the Luxembourg association Nei Stëmmen, which she founded in 2008 and which will be found on this site.



Kae Shiraki was born in Tokyo, Japan. With the age of 3 started to taking the lesson and later on, continued her education in Germany and France where she graduated with the top honors. She studied with Michael Schäfer, Elisso Wirssaladze,Gerard Frémy and Guigla Katsarava. She won several international competition in Italy (1 prize on “XIX international piano competition Città di Marsala” , 3er prize on “Concorso internationale di pianoforte Cagliari”), France (grand prix on “Prix Vandome” Paris), also had the honor to win the scholarship from DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst), Richard Wagner Verband, Fundation Sigmund Zaleski and Fuji-Television. Kae lives and performs in Luxembourg and also frequently appears in France, Germany and throughout Europe.



Maria Miteva born in Bulgaria, studied in Vienna, where she obtained two masters’

degrees in the classes of B.Gisler, and W. Trip .She also took private lessons with Prof. Janos Balint in Hungary. At this time she gave numerous solo concerts, including in the Konzerthaus Vienna; she had considerable experience in orchestral playing and chamber music until she came to Luxembourg in 2009 where she now teaches at a Conservatory and Music School; her pupils have won prizes in competitions in both Luxembourg and Vienna.



Josip Dragnic – guitarist, was born in Croatia and studied at the Music Academy in Split as well as at the Hochschuje für Musik Nürnberg-Augsburg. He has played solo, chamber music and orchestral music in several countries, He is one of the organisers of the chamber music festival in Split and has ten years’ experience as a guitar teacher, His pupils have won numerous prizes at both national and international competitions. He is the director of the Split Guitar Quartet. He has resided in Luxembourg since October 2013.
