Fridays 19:00-20:00 and 20:00-22:00
AcroYoga requires working with a partner and often with a group, so essentially this is a fun practice that builds not only strength, creativity and agility but also understanding of trust.
I would like to offer you classes in which we will cover the following:
– AcroYoga basic elements and the « alphabet » of the practice (learn the foundations: flyer, base, spotting; terminology used and basic shapes)
– Yoga asana warmups and group games
– Partner yoga warmups and assisted stretches
– Strength training for acrobatic elements
– Different types of basing (L-basing, belly basing, yoga basing…)
– Assisted inversions
– Creative flows
– Therapeutic flying and elements of thai massage
No experience nor partner is needed, and it is open for all body types no matter how much exercise you have done in the past.
The course is divided into two parts:
a) POWER VINYASA FLOW and CONDITIONING EXERCISES (19:00-20:00) – powerful exercises meant to prepare you for the AcroYoga practice
b) ACROYOGA mixed level class (20:00-21:30) and ACROYOGA JAM (free-style training 21:30-22:00)
You can come to only one of the parts or to both, whatever suits you better that day, though I would recommend coming to both to really advance your AcroYoga practice.
Prices for each part are separate.
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one (a few extra mats are provided)!
The classes will be taught in English.
My name is Maša and I have been trying to find new ways to make my body move in the past few years.
This search brought me to various experiences that enriched me not only with new movements, but new people: yoga, rock climbing, slacklining, AcroYoga, partner acrobatics.
All of them had a great effect on me, but the one that brought me closer to myself and other people was AcroYoga.
I am a certified Hatha Yoga teacher (Yogalife Belgium) and AcroYoga teacher (AcroYoga Montreal), and I would love to share this extremely fun and enriching practice with you!
