Bulgarian pianist Plamena Mangova’s career had emerged after becoming top prize winner at « Paloma  O’Shea »  (Santander), « Vittorio  Gui » (Chamber Music Competition ,Florence ) and notably the « Queen Elisabeth » Brussels Competitions.

Her teachers include Marina Kapatsinskaya (Sofia Academy) and Dmitri Bashkirov (Reina Sofia School in Madrid) and she had also graduaded the Queen Elisabeth College of Music in Belgium under the mentoring of Abdel Rahman El Bacha.

Her concerts have brought her on all continents – Europe (Pleyel and Theatre Champe Elysees concert halls in Paris, Berlin Philharmony, Leipzig Gewandhaus, Madrid’s Auditorio National, Brussels Palace of Fine Arts, Luxembourg Philharmonic ,London’s South Bank Center,Lugano Radio Hause for « Progetto Martha Argerich »), Russia (Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow and St.Petersburg Philharmonic hall), USA (Kennedy Center in Washington), Asia (Suntory and Kioi Halls in Tokyo,Sejong Center in Seoul, Taipei Concert hall), New Zealand (Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch), South Africa (Johannesburg and Pretoria halls).

Plamena Mangova had participated at prestigious festivals ,such as “Progetto Argerich” in Lugano , La Roque d’Antheron piano festival, Klavierfestival Ruhr ,Jerusalem chamber music festival, La Folle Journee de Nantes, Great Mountains festival in Pyoungchang (South Korea) among others.

She had collaborated as soloists of prestigious orchestras and chamber musician with great performers as Maestro Chung,Sir Colin Davis,Walter Weller,Emmanuel Krivine, Jaap van Zweeden, Maxim Vengerov, Boris Berezovsky, Alexander Knyazev, Augustin Dumay, Mihaela Martin, Frans Helmerson, Kolja Blacher and Pascal Moragues among others.
