Anastasiya Sergeeva Harp

Asya graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov Music School in Saint-Petersburg as a classically trained harpist. She has also cultivated a passion for the Celtic harp, and now divides her time between performing and teaching a new generation of Celtic harpists.
In her teaching, she combines the knowledge acquired during her PhD in psychology and different music learning approaches, with a deep understanding of the ergonomics of playing. She adopts elements of the Suzuki method in her lessons, as a useful tool to creating a nurturing learning environment for her youngest students.

Rebecca studied classical guitar at the Conservatoires of Leuven and Ghent. Since 1997, she has been an active music practitioner both as a teacher and as a player in various chamber ensembles.
When in 2015 she moved to Luxembourg, she realised that despite the important role music plays in young children’s lives, the country had little to offer for them. Determined to bridge the gap, she resolved to update her knowledge and formally train as a Suzuki guitar teacher.
The method offers an inclusive approach, involves the whole family and promotes peer support; technically it pays attention to repertoire and good posture, all indispensable qualities for a musician to freely express themselves through music.
