We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for young individuals from Luxembourg who would like you to be part of “YOU ARE”, an Erasmus+ project that is all about embracing art, upcycling, and gender equality.
We invite you to join us in the incredible journey that is about to begin!
The “Youth Opportunities through Upcycle, Art, Relations, and Equality” project is meant to empower young people to be active agents of change, utilising art and upcycling as tools for communication, expression, and collaboration to tackle gender sterotypes.
This project brings together 3 countries: Luxembourg, Italy, and Slovenia.
What You’ll Be Engaging In:
- Training on gender representation in public spaces.
- A three-day, all-expenses-covered mobility to Italy, courtesy of the Erasmus+ programme.
- Crafting art with upcycled materials.
- Creating a podcast about remarkable women forgotten by history.
Through these activities, you will cultivate essential soft skills, including intercultural communication, leadership, and teamwork. We are excited to provide you with the opportunity to enhance your personal growth, increasing your European sense of belonging and awareness about gender equality.

🏷️ PRICE: Absolutely FREE! All costs for training, travel, accommodation, and meals during the mobility phase will be covered by the EU!
📌 LOCATION OF THE ACTIVITY:
The training sessions will be a blend of online and on-site actvities, with the exact location yet to be determined in Luxembourg or Junglister.
The mobility phase will transport you to the enchanting region of Candela in Foggia (Italy), at the very heart of Puglia. This exciting journey will take place in May 2024, where you will be joined by 10 other young people from Italy. Together, you will be guided by talented Art Academy instructors to create stunning art pieces using upcycled materials. Additionally, you’ll get to explore the beauty of the area through a guided tour.
